A Memorable Dinner at Ha’Penny – Tues, Jan 28th


This past Tuesday, Ha’Penny Beach Club served up an extraordinary dining experience, showcasing flavors that transported us to coastal kitchens and rustic retreats alike. With a menu as vibrant and comforting as the company, the evening was a true culinary celebration.

The meal began with a show-stopping appetizer: Bouillabaisse. This classic seafood stew was brimming with fresh flavors from the sea, perfectly balanced by a rich broth. Guests raved about its authenticity, with many reminiscing about trips to the South of France or wishing they had been there.

For the main course, diners had the delightful challenge of choosing between two exceptional dishes.

The first option was the Mango Glazed Cracked Conch, a tropical-inspired creation paired with fragrant ginger jasmine rice, a crisp slaw, and tartar sauce. The conch was tender and flavorful, with the mango glaze adding just the right touch of sweetness to complement its natural richness.

Alternatively, the Short Rib Ragù was a comforting, hearty dish served over a bed of cheesy polenta. The ragù was deeply savory, with slow-cooked short ribs that melted in the mouth, while crispy shiitake mushrooms and parsley oil added a touch of sophistication and texture to the plate.

For dessert, the kitchen outdid itself with Triple Chocolate Brownie Fingers served alongside whipped chocolate ganache and a drizzle of whipped salted caramel. Rich, indulgent, and beautifully presented, this dessert was the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal.

As always, the evening wasn’t just about the food—it was about the atmosphere. Guests shared stories, laughter, and good company, creating a warm and welcoming vibe that lingered long after dessert was served.
